Lotus Lodge is a large traditional village house which enjoys a unique position in Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland, directly on the Southern Upland Way.  It is a great base for exploring this stunning area and a convenient and interesting stop-over on trips North or South.

The house was purchased privately in 2006 from the Scottish Youth Hostel Association, and has been run as a Hostel until 2009 unfortunatly we can no longer sustain running the house in this manner. Lotus Lodge now only accomodates large groups or whole house holiday rentals.

The whole house is ideal for large groups of people looking to get away, with it's large kitchen and living room and four separate bedrooms. When rented as a whole house the occupants get sole access to all the facilities. Phone or email us for availability and cost.
